Permanent ferrite magnetic tile core geometry

The permanent ferrite magnetic tile core is mainly composed of three kinds of metal elements: iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), and zinc (Zn). It is usually called manganese zinc ferrite. Because of the lack of air gap and the same area of the magnetic steel cutting manufacturer, the magnetic effect of the ring-shaped permanent magnet ferrite magnetic tile core is very high.


The permanent ferrite magnetic tile core is made of a dense and homogeneous ceramic structure of non-metallic magnetic material, has a low coercive force, and will also be referred to as a soft ferrite. This in turn will consist of iron oxide (Fe2O3) and one or more other metals (e.g. manganese, zinc, nickel, magnesium) oxides or carbonate compounds. After the ferrite material is pressed, the permanent magnet ferrite is sintered at a high temperature of 1300 degrees Celsius, and finally it will be machined to produce a finished magnetic core that meets the application requirements. Compared with other types of magnetic materials, the ferrite advantage It has high magnetic permeability and has advantages such as high resistance and small eddy current loss in a wide frequency range.


These material properties make ferrite an ideal material for applications such as high-frequency transformers, wide-band transformers, tunable inductors, and other high-frequency circuits from 10 kHz to 50 MHz.


There are many types of material and geometric shapes of permanent magnet ferrite cores, including pillars, I-shaped, hat-shaped, single-hole, double-hole, four-hole, U-shaped, pot-shaped, E-shaped, EI Shaped, EC shaped, RM shaped, PQ shaped, EP shaped. Each type of magnetic core will be a series of its own for users to choose. Inductors made by winding a coil on a permanent magnet ferrite tile core have a larger inductance than the same volume air core coil, and the Q value (quality factor) is also high.


The Gu-22x13 pot shape in the permanent ferrite magnetic tile core core, when it is used to make the 4mH inductor, it only needs to wind around 43 turns of the coil. If it is not the pot core, it is changed to the hollow coil. It will take around 600 turns to get a 4mH inductor. It can be seen that after using a permanent magnet ferrite magnetic core, the size of the inductor or the transformer can be greatly reduced.
